Nova Scotia Beaches
Given the week of storms we’ve had, we were lucky it was a sunny morning to get out with our photography friends and have a look at some seaside sights.
The light was silver when we arrived at our first beach.
Wave after mesmerizing wave.
Each one created a different effect as it swept up the shore
The light was intense causing some colour distortion, but I didn’t mind.
I couldn’t stop clicking as more waves rolled in.
There’s something special about going on a journey with like minded folk.
We all were there to get our pictures, no one cared who had what camera.
The beach did its thing for us
And we got our shots.
Then the dogs turned up. Crazy, daft dogs, loving the beach.
No one took notice of the ‘Dogs on Leads’ sign
On we went
Some got caught out by the waves
Surrounding lakes edged by ice
The waves got bigger, and then……….
The biggest treat was waiting quietly on a rock
A young snowy owl, was happy to pose for us until we were all clicked out.
Thank you for waiting gorgeous bird!
