The Place For me
I may have mentioned in this blog that I am moving to Canada at some point. Well, time has passed and I am almost at that point. Mandy, Poppy and I are over here in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a final visit before the move on August 22nd.
There is no doubt in my mind how much I love this place. I am very much returning to my roots
There is something laid back about the Nova Scotians. This appeals to me after a career of full on, sharp end of life and death.
I have made some excellent friends already. There’s Sybil from Blog Land who has shown me the ropes, and Amy Lynn, my wild life consultant, and maker of good cakes. As yesterday was my birthday, they provided me with a picnic tea over at Fisherman’s Cove.
Poppy had a marvellous time exploring the beach whist munching on Sybil’s hand-picked strawberries.
I probably shouldn’t mention the fine sunny cloudless skies weather should I?
The MacDonald Bridge is looking fine in the late afternoon sunshine
Our first peek at Halifax from Dartmouth has tempted us over for a visit today. More on that next time.

OMG I want to move there aswell!!!!!!!
